Man threatens three travellers with knife at Bützow station
During the night of 11 July, a 38-year-old man allegedly threatened three travellers with a knife at Bützow station. At about 00:05, the three men were waiting for their train on platform 3 when the man confronted them over their feet being on a bench and visibly held a knife. The travellers then left the area, after which the suspect allegedly insulted them with xenophobic remarks. State police located him shortly afterwards, provisionally detained him and found the knife in his backpack. Federal police took over the suspect and opened an investigation.
