Several injured in knife attack in Bruchsal
Four people were injured in an altercation involving groups of young men in Bruchsal early on Sunday. Police said that several men allegedly attacked the victims with knives and broken glass near the Handelslehranstalt, causing stab and cut wounds. Two of those injured required hospital treatment as inpatients, though their injuries were not considered life-threatening at the time. Two other men sustained minor injuries, while a fifth affected person was unharmed. Two opponents had first argued outside a restaurant on Stadtgrabenstraße at about 01:00 before meeting again later with further companions. Several suspects have been identified and the investigation is ongoing.
