18-year-old seriously injured by knife during confrontation in Bremen
An 18-year-old man sustained several knife-stab injuries during a confrontation in Bremen’s Steintor district in the early hours of 25 September 2026. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries, but police said his life was not in danger. Initial findings place the confrontation within a larger group near Sachsenstraße and Stedinger Straße. At about 4:35 a.m., callers reported a disturbance involving roughly 10 to 15 people and a heavily bleeding man on Friesenstraße. Officers attended to him and called emergency medical personnel. The 18-year-old was under the influence of drugs and initially could not describe what had happened; police are investigating the circumstances and seeking witnesses.
