47-year-old seriously injured in knife attack in Bremen
A 47-year-old man was seriously injured by multiple knife wounds outside a kiosk on Alte Hafenstraße in Bremen-Vegesack on 16 June. Witnesses had previously seen two men involved in a loud dispute. One of the men allegedly drew a knife and stabbed the other several times.
Emergency personnel took the injured man to hospital, where he underwent immediate surgery. Prosecutors and criminal police are investigating an attempted homicide, while inquiries into the background of the dispute continue.
