Man seriously injured in knife attack in Bremen-Findorff
A 70-year-old man was seriously injured in Bremen-Findorff during the night into Friday. Police said he had got out of his car on Neukirchstraße at about 12:45 a.m. when a man approached and attacked him with a knife. The victim was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening stab wounds.
The attacker initially fled towards Bürgerpark. Officers located a 28-year-old suspect several streets away. He was due to be brought before a judge later that day, while criminal police investigate the background. Initial findings indicate that the two men knew each other.
