Man seriously injured in knife attack in Bremen
A 22-year-old man was seriously injured on Gröpelinger Heerstraße in Bremen during the night leading into Saturday. According to initial witness accounts, he had argued with another man, who allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed him in the back. After first aid was provided, emergency services took the man to hospital for emergency surgery; police said his injuries were not life-threatening. A 21-year-old later turned himself in to police, and a judge issued a detention order against him.
