18-year-old injured in knife stabbing after dispute in Bremen
An 18-year-old was injured in a knife attack in Bremen's railway-station district on Monday evening. According to initial findings, he had first argued with another man at Platz der Deutschen Einheit before the confrontation moved toward Bahnhofstraße and Hillmannplatz. The still-unidentified attacker then stabbed the young man multiple times and fled toward the main railway station. The victim was taken to hospital and, according to police, was not in life-threatening danger. Criminal police are investigating; the search for the suspect and witness interviews were complicated by disruptions near a gathering at the main station.
