Man critically injured in stabbing near Bremen central station
On 16 January, a 35-year-old man sustained life-threatening stab wounds following an altercation near Bremen central station. Emergency personnel were called to Bahnhofsplatz at about 06:25 and found him there.
According to initial witness accounts, he had previously been involved in a physical confrontation with an unidentified man. After receiving first aid, he was taken to hospital for emergency surgery. Bremen prosecutors and criminal police are investigating attempted homicide and are seeking witnesses.
