Woman injures husband with kitchen knife in Bremen
A 45-year-old woman is alleged to have attacked her 48-year-old husband with a kitchen knife at their shared flat on Den Haager Straße in Bremen-Huchting during the night of 3 January. The man called emergency services himself and was treated in hospital for a stab wound to his shoulder. Police said his life was not in danger.
According to the report, the incident followed ongoing conflicts and both spouses were significantly under the influence of alcohol. Officers found the woman in the apartment building's stairwell, provisionally detained her and issued a multi-day exclusion order from the home. She is being investigated on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm.
