Man seriously injured in stabbing attack in Bremen
An unidentified man was seriously injured by stab wounds on Tuesday evening on Gustav-Deetjen-Allee in Bremen's Schwachhausen district. According to initial findings, an unknown attacker injured him with a stabbing weapon near a tunnel. The injured man was still able to reach the former post office on An der Weide, where he band his wounds himself before passers-by called emergency services. Police officers provided first aid and applied a tourniquet; he was taken to hospital for emergency surgery. Police are seeking witnesses and information about the victim's identity and a possible attacker.
