Three injured in confrontation in Bremen-Kattenturm
About 15 youths became involved in a confrontation in Bremen-Kattenturm at around 10 p.m. on 12 December, during which several weapons were reportedly used. Witnesses said these included knives, pepper spray, what appeared to be a blank-firing gun, and at least one baton.
Three people sustained minor injuries: two suffered eye irritation and a 20-year-old man suffered a head laceration. The confrontation began in a car park and later moved to Agnes-Heineken-Straße. Several people fled, while police secured evidence and recorded the identities of participants and witnesses. Investigators are examining the background to the incident.
