Man threatens police officers with hunting knife in Bremen

A 30-year-old man threatened police officers with a hunting knife outside Osterholz police station in Bremen on Monday evening. When a patrol approached him, he drew the knife, waved it around and walked into the road. He did not drop it despite officers' instructions. Supporting officers subdued and restrained him with a Taser, and nobody was injured. The knife was seized and the man was involuntarily admitted to psychiatric care following an assessment. Osterholzer Heerstraße was temporarily closed during the operation.
