Man injured in the face with knife during dispute in Bremen

A 28-year-old man was injured in the face with a knife during a dispute in Bremen's Bahnhofsvorstadt district. Police said that he and a 39-year-old man initially argued verbally on Breitenweg at about 2:55 a.m. on 14 August. The 39-year-old allegedly then pulled a knife and injured the man in the face. The victim sustained several cuts and received outpatient hospital treatment. The suspect initially fled but was identified and provisionally detained shortly afterwards near Hugo-Schauinsland-Platz; a knife was seized. Police are investigating on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm.
