Man provisionally detained after knife attack in Bremen
A 26-year-old man allegedly argued with an employee at a sales stand in Bremen's Steintor district at about 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. As police officers sought to clarify the incident, he took a knife from the stand's display and made several stabbing movements towards the employee. The man was not injured. Officers ordered the attacker to drop the knife while holding a firearm at the ready; he complied and was provisionally detained. Police are investigating attempted dangerous bodily harm and are seeking the affected employee.
