Man injured after knife threat during dispute in Bernau
A dispute broke out in the early morning of 14 August in an apartment on Akazienweg in Bernau bei Berlin. Two married couples had gathered there when the two men became involved in an argument for reasons that remain unclear. A 68-year-old man allegedly threatened his 37-year-old opponent with a knife. The younger man suffered a cut to his hand while attempting to take the knife away and was later treated in hospital. Criminal police are investigating the precise sequence of events.
