Minor seriously injured by knife stabbings in Bottrop
A 37-year-old woman is suspected of seriously injuring her minor son with knife stabbings in Bottrop on Sunday morning. A witness found the teenager seriously injured but conscious on a pavement in Batenbrock at about 05:50. He received medical care and was taken to hospital. The suspect initially fled and was provisionally detained during a police operation in Gelsenkirchen during the night leading into Monday. A homicide investigation team is investigating.
