Armed robbery at perfume shop in Bottrop
Two masked men entered a perfume shop on Hauptstraße in Bottrop around midday on 14 August 2025. One of them demanded cash from an employee while displaying a large knife or machete, while the other stole several perfumes. Both fled with the stolen goods, reportedly via an allotment garden area. Police recovered clothing there and continue to search for the men, using a police dog and helicopter in the operation.
