Knife displayed during altercation at Bonn's Römerbad
A knife was reportedly displayed during an altercation at the Römerbad swimming pool in Bonn-Castell, according to witness accounts. Two men suffered minor injuries according to the investigation so far. Police later recovered a knife from bushes at the swimming pool.
The incident at about 18:00 on 2 July followed an argument among three men. After a woman asked the men to calm down, the three men allegedly directed racist insults at her. A man who sided with her was then physically attacked by the three men, police said. The three men were located and checked in front of the swimming pool; the investigation is continuing.
