Man allegedly attempted stabbing with knife after dispute in Bonn

On 18 February, a 21-year-old and a 47-year-old man first argued and then became involved in a physical confrontation at the Rondell near Bonn's central bus station. Police said the 47-year-old allegedly pulled a knife after the other man had fallen to the ground and tried to stab him. The 21-year-old avoided the stabbing attempts. He then allegedly struck the 47-year-old several times; the latter was injured and taken to hospital for treatment. Police seized a kitchen knife and are investigating bodily harm offences.
