Police officer slightly injured in bladed-weapon attack in Bochum
A 36-year-old man allegedly caused a disturbance in his flat in Bochum-Grumme during the night into Sunday and threw faeces at responding police officers. Police said he then attacked the officers with a bladed weapon, slightly injuring one of them. Special forces were called in and detained the man at about 04:20. He sustained minor injuries during the operation and was taken to a clinic for psychiatric treatment. Criminal police are investigating.
