Man threatens taxi driver with knife in Bochum
An unidentified man allegedly threatened a 53-year-old taxi driver in Bochum with a knife and demanded cash early on Saturday. The man had entered the taxi as a passenger near the junction of Kerkwege and Viktoriastraße. At about 4:55 a.m., he reportedly pulled out a knife near Schellstraße. He later left the taxi at Königsallee and Hugo-Schultz-Straße without any money and fled. A local search was unsuccessful; criminal police are investigating and seeking witnesses.
