Teenager allegedly attacked with knife on bus near Blaustein
A 25-year-old man allegedly attacked a teenager with a knife on Sunday on a local bus travelling from Markbronn towards Ulm. Near Arnegg, he is alleged to have stabbed towards the seated teenager's head and neck without warning. The teenager fended off the attack with his hands and sustained minor injuries to an ear, his arms and hands.
After the driver stopped the bus in Arnegg and opened the door, the alleged attacker fled. Police arrested him a few minutes later. A judge ordered the man's provisional placement in a secure psychiatric hospital on urgent suspicion of attempted murder; the investigation is continuing.
