Man threatens police officers with utility knife in Bitterfeld-Wolfen
Officers checked a 43-year-old man at the market square in Bitterfeld-Wolfen at around noon on 30 August after finding that he was subject to an arrest warrant. Police said he became increasingly aggressive during the encounter, made threats and suddenly pulled a utility knife, holding it toward the officers. The officers prevented further escalation. The man was arrested and taken to a correctional facility after he was unable to pay the required sum.
