Teenager allegedly tries to injure stepfather with knife
In Billigheim-Ingenheim, a teenager allegedly attacked his stepfather with a knife during an argument about a mobile phone. Police said the teenager made stabbing motions toward the man at a residence at about 15:35 on 9 May; the stepfather was not injured. The stepfather and another family member left the house and called police. When officers arrived, the teenager walked toward them holding a knife. Officers restrained and handcuffed him, and he was then taken to a psychiatric hospital. Criminal proceedings were initiated.
