Three relatives injured with knife in Bielefeld family incident
Police say the four people injured in an incident in Bielefeld on 30 October 2026 are no longer in life-threatening condition. A mother is suspected of inflicting substantial cuts with a knife on three relatives before injuring herself; some of those injured had been seriously hurt. Initial findings indicate there had been no violent confrontation among those involved beforehand. Investigators are still examining the circumstances. On 1 November, a judge issued an arrest warrant for the accused on three counts of attempted murder. She is in a prison hospital.
