Man seriously injured in knife attack in Bielefeld
A 22-year-old man was seriously injured during an altercation on Körnerstraße near Niederwall in Bielefeld. Police said he had sought a conversation with a 20-year-old early on Sunday after a prior dispute between their families. Three further people associated with the 22-year-old reportedly joined the meeting. The 20-year-old is then alleged to have suddenly stabbed him with a knife. He initially fled but was arrested at his home shortly afterwards and released after police measures were completed. Officers recovered the knife from a garden and are investigating the 20-year-old on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
