Van driver robbed at knifepoint at A2 service area near Bielefeld
A van driver was robbed by two unidentified suspects at the Niedergassel service area on the A2 near Bielefeld, according to police. The man was allegedly asleep in his locked vehicle when the suspects pulled him out at about 3:30 a.m. and threatened him with a knife. They took his wallet and jacket before leaving in a dark car. Police said it was initially unclear how they had opened the vehicle.
