Armed men threaten vehicle occupants in Biberach
Two armed men allegedly threatened three occupants of a VW in Biberach at about 8:45 p.m. on 2 July. Witnesses saw the men chase a car along Saulgauer Straße while carrying a knife and a machete. Initial findings indicate that the confrontation between two groups followed a dispute during an alleged drug transaction. Police provisionally detained the two suspects near the scene and later seized a kitchen knife and a machete. The three vehicle occupants were found in a supermarket car park in the town centre. The suspects are being investigated on suspicion of aggravated robbery-related extortion, threats and drug dealing while carrying weapons; both were released after police measures were completed.
