Teenager injured in knife attack in Bernkastel-Kues
A teenager was injured in the hand during a knife attack at Forumsplatz in Bernkastel-Kues on 3 January. Two men allegedly first bumped into and threatened him. One of them allegedly aimed a knife at the teenager's neck, and the teenager sustained a cut while trying to fend off the attack. He fled into a supermarket, with one of the men reportedly following him briefly. Police searched for the two suspects but did not locate them.
