An 18-year-old man suffered a stab wound to his back and irritation to his eyes and airways during a robbery in Berlin-Wilmersdorf. At around 10:35 p.m. on 15 October 2026, he and another 18-year-old were walking along Uhlandstraße towards Berliner Straße when, according to the initial account, three teenagers and young adults engaged them in conversation. The two were then allegedly attacked with a knife and pepper spray by members of the group. His companion was reportedly struck repeatedly in the face and robbed of a phone, a bank card and a portable speaker. The stab wound was treated in hospital. Police detained a teenage suspect and an 18-year-old suspect nearby and found two pepper sprays on them. The teenager was held while an arrest warrant was sought; the 18-year-old was taken into custody under an existing warrant. The third suspect escaped unidentified, and the investigation continues.
