Woman injured in knife attack in Berlin

A 21-year-old woman suffered an injury to her left hand in an alleged knife attack in Berlin-Hellersdorf during the night before Saturday. She had been walking along Fritz-Lang-Platz from Hellersdorf underground station when an unidentified man allegedly followed and spoke to her. He then allegedly produced a knife and attacked her; she raised her hands protectively in front of her body. The suspect fled, and the woman received outpatient treatment at a hospital.
