Two injured after attack with pointed object in Berlin

At the intersection of Lohmühlenstraße and Kiefholzstraße in Berlin-Kreuzberg, a 28-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were reportedly attacked by a minor suspect at about 12:15 a.m. According to the initial findings, he first sprayed pepper spray into their faces. He then allegedly injured the man on the head and arm with a pointed object, while the woman suffered a hand injury in the attack. Both injured people were taken to hospital for treatment. The woman was treated as an outpatient and the man was admitted to hospital. Officers provisionally detained the suspect shortly afterwards, and he was due to appear before a remand judge.
