Man injured with machete in Kreuzberg
A 27-year-old man was injured on a green space at Hallesches Ufer at the corner of Wilhelmstraße in Berlin-Kreuzberg. According to police, an unknown man first approached him at about 0:30 a.m. and then struck his forehead with a machete. Further unknown men then joined in and hit his upper body with objects, including a baseball bat. The attackers fled. The man was taken to hospital for inpatient treatment of head and upper-body injuries, and police are investigating suspected dangerous bodily harm.
