Man seriously injured in knife attack in Berlin-Lankwitz
A 33-year-old man was injured with a knife during an argument in Berlin-Lankwitz on Tuesday evening. A resident had noticed a loud dispute between two men on Falkenhausenweg at about 8:30 p.m.
According to the initial findings, a 31-year-old man is suspected of inflicting a stab wound to the other man's upper body before fleeing. The injured man was taken to hospital, admitted as an inpatient and operated on; police said there was no immediate danger to his life at that time. Officers provisionally detained the suspect shortly afterwards in a green space near Malteserstraße. Criminal investigators took over the inquiry.
