Woman dies after knife attack in Berlin-Mariendorf
A 65-year-old woman died following an alleged knife attack in Berlin-Mariendorf. Witnesses had observed her 43-year-old son allegedly injuring her with a knife on the balcony of their shared apartment on Monday morning. Police arrested the suspect inside the apartment and began resuscitation measures. Emergency services took the woman to hospital, where she died from her injuries. The man is under investigation on suspicion of homicide and was due to be brought before a remand judge.
