Man injured in confrontation in Berlin-Wedding
A 28-year-old man became involved in an argument with a larger group on Reinickendorfer Straße in Berlin-Wedding at about 12:50 a.m. on Friday. After he ran into a snack bar, several people from the group allegedly forced him to the ground and beat him. He suffered a stab wound to the thigh and was admitted to hospital; according to the current information, his life was not in danger. The snack-bar operator was sprayed with irritant gas while trying to intervene and received outpatient treatment at the scene. Three suspected participants were later arrested and released after police procedures. Investigations into the sequence of events and the background are continuing.
