Man treated for life-threatening stab and cut injuries in Berlin
A 38-year-old man independently went to an emergency department in Berlin-Reinickendorf early in the morning. He had life-threatening cut and stab injuries to both shoulders, his hands and the right side of his body, and underwent several emergency operations. He was then admitted to an intensive care unit; police said his condition was stable. Investigators identified a room in a residential facility on Conradstraße as the suspected crime scene. A 37-year-old resident was provisionally detained but released after identification procedures and a blood sample was taken. The investigation is ongoing.
