Man arrested after altercation outside Berlin bar

A 49-year-old was injured during a physical altercation outside a bar in Berlin-Friedrichshain. He later found cut or stab wounds to his thigh and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Police said a 30-year-old had previously been removed from the venue on Krossener Straße twice because of aggressive behaviour. At about 12:50 a.m., an argument allegedly began in the entrance area and then moved to the pavement outside the bar. Officers later arrested the 30-year-old after seeing him discard a knife while fleeing. The investigation into dangerous bodily harm is ongoing.
