Woman threatens passenger with knife on Berlin S-Bahn

A 32-year-old woman allegedly threatened a 19-year-old passenger with a knife on Monday evening on S-Bahn line 3 between Alexanderplatz and Jannowitzbrücke. According to the Federal Police, she used the knife to make cutting gestures at the passenger's neck. Two witnesses restrained the woman and secured the knife; a minor witness and a 29-year-old witness sustained minor hand injuries but declined medical treatment. Security staff held the woman at Jannowitzbrücke station until Federal Police officers arrived. Officers provisionally detained her, seized the knife and released her after the police measures were completed; the Federal Police are investigating.
