Two men injured in group attack in Berlin
Two men were attacked and injured by a larger group outside a supermarket on Sonnenallee in Berlin-Neukölln on Friday evening. Witnesses said knives and baseball bats were allegedly used. A 33-year-old man suffered cuts to his face, while a 23-year-old man sustained a stab wound to his lower back. Both were taken to hospital; the 23-year-old remained for inpatient treatment and the 33-year-old was discharged after outpatient care. Police said neither man was at any time in danger of death. Investigations into the roughly 15 to 20 suspects are continuing.
