Man threatens rail employees with knife at Sonnenallee S-Bahn station
On the evening of 7 January, a 44-year-old man allegedly behaved aggressively at Sonnenallee S-Bahn station. After two Deutsche Bahn employees approached him, he allegedly drew a knife from his waistband and moved threateningly towards one of them. A passenger took the knife from him and threw it onto the tracks. The man then allegedly physically attacked the second employee before federal police stopped further attacks and provisionally detained him. He was released after police procedures, and investigators are examining suspected threats and bodily harm.
