Teenager allegedly injured with a knife in Berlin

A teenager was attacked by a group in Berlin-Mitte on the evening of 26 November and was allegedly injured with a knife following a dispute. He and a peer were in Panoramastraße near the Fernsehturm underpass when they encountered a group of about seven people who were reportedly known to them from earlier disputes. The two ran away; after the injured teenager fell, one of the pursuers allegedly stabbed him in the back with a knife. The group fled. The teenager received initial treatment at the Alexwache before being taken to hospital for surgery. Police said his life was not in danger and investigations are continuing.
