Man injured with knife during suspected robbery attempt in Berlin-Rummelsburg

A 54-year-old man was injured with a knife during a suspected robbery attempt in Berlin-Rummelsburg on the evening of 6 September. At about 9:30 p.m., three unidentified people allegedly approached him at the junction of Wönnichstraße and Münsterlandplatz and demanded money. One of the suspected robbers allegedly threatened him with a knife and then thrust it toward his neck. According to police, the man blocked the attack with his hand and suffered a deep cut injury. The three suspects fled, and emergency personnel took the injured man to hospital for treatment. A specialist unit of Police Directorate 3 (East) is investigating.
