Man allegedly injured with knife during robbery in Berlin

A 32-year-old woman and her 37-year-old companion were injured in a robbery in Berlin-Wilhelmstadt. At about 8 p.m. on 29 August, they were walking along Wilhelmstraße towards Rathaus Spandau when an unknown man allegedly snatched two travel bags from the woman. As she tried to hold on to the bags, the suspect allegedly injured her companion with a knife. The man was admitted to hospital with injuries to an arm and his upper body, while the woman was discharged after outpatient treatment. A search for the fleeing suspect was unsuccessful, and a robbery unit is investigating.
