Man injured in knife attack at Berlin apartment
A 66-year-old man went to a hospital on the morning of 16 July with cuts to his upper body and arm. According to initial findings, a 34-year-old acquaintance allegedly attacked and injured him with a kitchen knife at an apartment in Berlin-Lichtenrade at around 11:30 a.m. State Criminal Police Office specialists arrested the suspect there shortly afterwards; he was lightly injured during the arrest and, after outpatient treatment, handed over to a specialist police unit. He was due to be brought before a judge later that day, while the investigation remains ongoing.
