Security staff noticed an argument at about 2:15 a.m. at the junction of Badstraße, Pankstraße and Prinzenallee involving four people and a larger group of men. Police said four to five men from the larger group allegedly drew knives. A 26-year-old man reportedly suffered a stab wound to the buttock, while his 23-year-old companion injured his hand when trying to prevent another stabbing.
