Man injured in knife attack at Osloer Straße underground station

On 1 April, a 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old man became involved in a dispute with two unidentified people at about 5:30 pm near the intersection of Osloer Straße and Schwedenstraße in Berlin-Gesundbrunnen, according to police. One of the unidentified people allegedly sprayed both men with irritant spray. After the 19-year-old fled to the mezzanine level of Osloer Straße underground station, one attacker allegedly followed him and injured him with a knife. The injured man underwent emergency surgery and was admitted to hospital with injuries to his upper body and legs; the 20-year-old received outpatient treatment for eye irritation. The suspect fled, and the mezzanine level was closed for scene work until about 7:20 pm.
