Man threatens security guard with knife after Berlin robbery

Two men allegedly robbed a 59-year-old man and his 55-year-old wife, who was also present, in an office on Westhafenstraße in Berlin-Moabit on 28 March. One of the men held a pistol to the man's head, and both victims were tied up before money was taken. One man escaped during the getaway, while the other could not start his motor scooter. When a 26-year-old security guard intervened, a physical confrontation followed, during which the suspected robber drew a knife and threatened the guard. The guard disarmed him and held him until police arrived. The money was recovered, and the arrested suspected robber was handed over to criminal police; the investigation was ongoing.
