18-year-old attacked and targeted with knife in Treptower Park
An 18-year-old was attacked and injured in Treptower Park in Berlin on the evening of 18 January. Police said he had been walking with a woman he had met online when three masked men allegedly attacked him near the promenade. The men reportedly punched him and kicked him after he fell to the ground. One of them then allegedly attempted to stab the 18-year-old with a knife, but he avoided the stabbing attempts. The three men escaped without being identified. The injured man was taken to hospital for inpatient treatment for injuries to his head and torso. The woman left when the first emergency personnel arrived.
