Man hospitalised with stab wounds after attack at Berlin underground station

A 32-year-old man was allegedly approached by a group of five men at Schlesisches Tor underground station in Berlin-Kreuzberg early in the morning before being suddenly attacked. According to the initial findings, he was also struck with an iron bar and a glass bottle.

The attackers fled. The man initially continued on his way and only later noticed stab wounds to his legs. He sought help in a shop, where emergency crews treated him before taking him to hospital. Police are investigating.
